An Afternoon Of 007 At The Cinema With Commissioner Kirk Menendez

Commissioner Kirk R. Menendez had a Night of Enchantment series this past fall where residents 50 and over could view a film and enjoy some popcorn at Gables Cinema watching a classic film. The series was a huge success.

The films included “Singin’ In The Rain,” “Bonnie and Clyde” and “Some Like It Hot.”

Menendez shared that“its an attempt to bring joy to our residents. Its those little things we all can do to bring some joy and I am more than happy to do my part,” said Menendez.

Menendez has decided to show a new film this month with “An Afternoon of 007 at the Cinema with Commissioner Kirk Menendez.”

The event will take place this Sunday, February 6th at 1:00PM at Gables Cinema, 260 Aragon Avenue.

Tickets are FREE and available to the 50+ Community at the Adult Activity Center, 2 Andalusia Ave. or online at www.playgables.com.

Tickets are limited and are available on a first come first serve basis. Tickets may be available at the door depending upon availability.”

  1. Do we really want government at any level to chaperone us to movies?

Maybe the Commissioner could take a bunch of residents to see the out-in-the-open sex trafficking
    on Eighth Street around LeJeune.

We are paying to do something about THAT. Do we need to enlist 007 to solve that problem when the solution is simple?
