CGPD Arrests Suspect Caught On RING Camera For Voyeurism and Trespass

On January 10th and August 27th, 2019, the above pictured subject was observed by two victims looking into the bedrooms of their homes in the 4000/5000 blocks of Ponce De Leon Boulevard without the consent of the homeowners. A RING video was obtained by detectives showing the subject walking towards a home and later detectives learned that the subject was working as an Uber driver. Both victims positively identified the subject and on October 1, 2019, the subject was apprehended by the Coral Gables Police Department. The subject admitted to both incidents in his interview with our detectives

Yoel Diaz Hernandez was charged with two counts of voyeurism and two counts of trespass to an occupied structure and was transported to TGK.

Detectives suspect there may be other victims throughout Miami-Dade County. If anyone believes they could be a victim, they should contact their local police department or the Coral Gables Police Department at 305-442-1600.
