Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden is celebrating the return of Orchids in Bloom, an enchanting festival of orchids, on Saturday and Sunday, March 11-12, 2023 from 10:00AM to 5:00PM.
Just a few days shy of the start of spring, but this is the perfect way to spend the weekend with daylight savings time taking effect to enjoy more time outdoors in South Florida weather.
This celebration of all things orchids will offer dazzling displays, gardening demos, orchid and market vendors, one-of-a-kind tasting experiences, and fantastic lectures. Guests are also invited to stroll through the Garden and enjoy the sights of thousands of orchids planted on trees and palms throughout the Tropical Orchid Rainforest, award-winning hybrids, popular varieties, and extra-tropical species.
At Fairchild, our experts focus their attention on orchids from all over the tropics with particular emphasis on orchids of cultural and breeding importance and orchid species from Florida and the Caribbean. This renewed focus on the orchid collections at Fairchild Garden was largely due to the partnership with American Orchid Society (AOS) and the public enthusiasm for the Million Orchid Project.
