Large Crowds And Excitement Filled Marlins Park On FanFest

The Miami Marlins held their 2020 FanFest on Saturday, February 8th at Marlins Park, and a crowd of over 17,000 came out to join the celebration for the upcoming baseball season.

From autograph sessions, to selfie opportunities, to photo opportunities with the Marlins’ 1997 and 2003 World Series trophies and Billy the Marlin, to children’s activities, to Beer and Wine events, FanFest featured activites for fans of all ages.

All players on the team’s 40-man roster were in attendance and made time to interact with fans and the excitement from fans was palpable.

The crowd of 17,000 was nearly a 50% increase from the 2019 attendance of about 12,000 fans at FanFest.

FanFest is the Marlins’ official opening for single game ticket sales.

The players will be heading to Jupiter, where they will report for Spring Training this week. The team will play its first Spring Training game on February 22nd at Clover Park in Port Saint Lucie, with their first home game at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium in Jupiter on the 23rd against the Washington Nationals.
