Official City of Coral Gables Notice
“A Gables Fourth” Celebration and Fireworks Extravaganza returns to the iconic Biltmore Hotel, located at 1200 Anastasia Avenue, after a two-year COVID hiatus.
The festive, family-friendly event, hosted in partnership by the City of Coral Gables and the Biltmore Hotel, marks the anniversary of the country’s independence with colorful fireworks displays and live music. Grounds open at 5 p.m., concert begins at 7 p.m., and fireworks launch at 9 p.m. General admission is free.
“We are pleased to be able to once again celebrate our nation’s independence as a community,” said Fred Couceyro, director of the Community Recreation Department. “We look forward to welcoming everyone to the iconic Biltmore Hotel and Golf Course.”
Attendees are encouraged to arrive by bike to the Biltmore Hotel. Easy, secure, and complimentary bike valet parking is provided by Green Mobility Network from the William H. Kerdyk Biltmore Tennis Center, 1150 Anastasia Avenue.
Limited free parking will be available at Municipal Garage 4 at 345 Andalusia Avenue (Garage 4 pickups will take place from Coral Gables City Hall) and the University of Miami’s Pavia Garage at 5615 Pavia Street. Last pickup from City Hall and the Pavia Garage will be at 8:15 p.m. Return shuttles will continue throughout the evening.
Attendees are reminded that no pets, coolers, or fireworks will be permitted on the grounds. Service animals are welcome. The Coral Gables Police Department will be directing traffic and reminds attendees that parking is not permitted on streets and that access to roads in close vicinity to the Biltmore will be limited to residents.
