The Coral Gables Bar Association has appointed its new president, Hugo V. Alvarez, Shareholder at Becker & Poliakoff.
Hugo has successfully worked on cases involving Fortune 500 companies, prominent real estate developers, financial institutions, and many more. He has been published in the Miami-Daily Business Review, appeared on CNN, and Spanish TV, and is often quoted in leading business periodicals such as the South Florida Business Journal on local legal topics. His awards include The Best Lawyers in America, Florida Trend Legal Elite and Florida Super Lawyers.
“I look forward to serving as the President of the Coral Gables Bar Association and expanding our activities. Despite the challenges presented by COVID, we will continue to service our membership and have a meaningful impact in Coral Gables and beyond, as well as helping the Coral Gables legal and business communities during these turbulent times.” said Alvarez.
