Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden Press Release
Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden will be launching festive family fun events all throughout December to spread the holiday cheer as the debut of “A VERY MERRY GARDEN.” The 83-acre tropical oasis will transform into an immersive winter wonderland with activities for the whole family to enjoy. Activities range from reindeer scavenger hunts, letters to Santa, hot cocoa and storytime tales with Mrs. Claus, holiday jingles and jazz music paired with cocktails under the stars, a holly jolly stroll with your furry friend, sing-along tram express with Santa himself, and much more.

Reindeer Round-up
Thursday, December 1, 2022 – Sunday, January 1, 2023
Daily from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Embark on a mission to find all of Santa’s reindeer before they head back to the North Pole, scattered around the Garden in their favorite hiding spots. Santa’s reindeer love to play, so be on the lookout for their collars to locate where they’re hiding out. Participants that can find all of Santa’s reindeer can enter for a chance to win prizes, such as an Expedition Discovery Mission Kit, a visit to Fairchild’s Hot Chocolate Bar to create a delicious festive treat, or a pair of tickets to the Festival of Chocolate at Fairchild in January.
Letters to Santa
Thursday, December 1, 2022 – Friday, December 23, 2022
Daily from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Prepare the wishlist of goodies and toys to send the official letter to Santa when visiting Santa’s post office located in The Shop.
Storytime with Mrs. C
Available on December 3, 10, 17, 18, 22, 23 & 24, 2022, at The Shop
12:30 PM, 2:00 PM, and 3:30 PM
Cozy up and listen to holiday storytime tales from none other than Mrs. Claus while enjoying some delicious homemade hot cocoa.

Dog Date Stroll: Santa’s Little Helpers

Santa’s Garden

Spend time with Santa as he soaks up the final days of vacation in Miami before returning to the North Pole the Garden will be celebrating with festive treats and beverages. Additionally, Fairchild will have their Tram Express, where guests can sing along to the all-time favorite Holiday Jingles while taking a ride through the Garden.
