On Tuesday, March 9th, the City of Coral Gables Commission voted on first reading to move the Miracle Mile zoning changes to a final vote at the March 23rd Commission meeting.
The changes as they stand would make remote parking mandatory for new construction on Miracle Mile, maximize buildings at four stories or 50 feet with a step back.
The Commission voted 4-1 (Lago was the only “No” vote) to move the plan forward to a final reading on March 23rd.
The March 23rd meeting is scheduled to be the final meeting before the Coral Gables municipal election.
The zoning changes were also voted on and approved by a 5-0 vote.
