Peloton Opens at Merrick Park

The global interactive fitness platform, Peloton, is officially open at the Shops at Merrick Park located at 320 San Lorenzo Ave in Coral Gables. The company offers a stationary bike, treadmill and a digital content app. The membership includes live streaming classes out of their New York and London studios as well as an extensive library of on-demand sessions and boot camps.

Gables Insider was invited to their official opening celebration and got to experience what Men’sHealth calls “The best cardio machine on the planet.” The showroom was buzzing with existing Peloton members who wore their Peloton swag as well as new customers that have been long waiting their summer showroom launch. They offered 30% off all apparel, custom shirt personalization and a complimentary Miami Peloton water bottle.

“I’m glad Peloton is at Merrick Park. It’s a fantastic product that many consider to be the Apple of home fitness and exercise.” Said Tracy Kerdyk, a lifelong Coral Gables resident and local realtor. She says that even when she’s not on the bike, she uses the digital content app that’s included with the membership to get workouts in wherever she goes.

The showroom fits right in at Merrick Park with high quality furniture and a custom build out. Store manager Brittany Cohen walked us around and explained the showroom concept. They have a total of four bikes and four treads in the store. Two of each are on the open floor, while those looking for a more private experience can book a studio with closed doors to get a trial workout in without any spectators.

Private Studio Rooms that can be booked online to test the products without anyone overlooking at the store.

Peloton gives you the ultimate zero-excuse at-home experience. We couldn’t come up with any excuses as to why you can’t workout at home when you have Peloton. The gym works for you 24/7 while the app gives you motivation by providing upcoming session reminders as well as your stats for the week and month. Want to work out at 10pm but don’t want to wake up the kids? While their equipment is near silent, the classes can get the rhythm going. Simply connect Bluetooth headphones and you’re back in the game.

“We’re super excited to be here in Coral Gables and meet the local Peloton community.” added Cohen. She encourages anyone who’s interested to book a complimentary studio session for either the tread of bike by going to and selecting the Coral Gables store.

The store is open the same hours as the mall, 10am-9pm Monday – Saturday and noon – 6pm Sunday.
