Wondering which parks will be opening and why some remain closed?
Parks with any sort of playground equipment will remain closed to the public for the time being.
However, parks less than 1-acre in size without playground equipment, previously closed, will now be accessible to the public for use. Social distancing rules still apply.
You can now visit your neighborhood open space parks like Henry Cepero Memorial Park, Ponce Circle Park, and Ferdinand Park just to name a few.
The City Commission has made it a mission to have parks within a 15 minute walk of residential areas.
