Vice Mayor Vince Lago will be hosting a town hall meeting to hear from residents on issues affecting the City. The Vice Mayor has also announced that Congresswoman Donna Shalala, who represents Coral Gables in the US House of Representatives, and Representative Javier Fernandez, who represents most of the City in the State Legislature, will also be present providing legislative updates.
“Since I’ve been elected in 2014, I’ve been honored to host semi-annual town hall meetings with the intention of keeping residents up to date on important city related topics and foster transparency in government,” said Lago.
He added, “I am thrilled to have invited very special guests to participate at my upcoming Town Hall meeting, which include the Honorable Congresswoman Donna Shalala, and State Representative Javier Fernandez who will be providing updates on legislative matters affecting Coral Gables both at the state and federal level.”
The town hall will take place on Wednesday, July 31st from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the Adult Activity Center located at 2 Andalusia Avenue. Complimentary valet will be available at The Palace and free parking is available in the parking garage above the Adult Activity Center.
