Coral Gables Mayor Raul J. Valdes-Fauli has tested positive for Covid-19.
Valdes-Fauli, 77, most recently participated in the city’s tree lighting ceremony on Friday. Sources at City Hall informed Gables Insider that the Mayor is not experiencing any major symptoms and plans to participate virtually at the December 8th City Commission meeting.
The Mayor tested following a routine weekly test on Saturday, but was asymptomatic at the time. He learned of his results last night.
