Welcome Back Students with a Back-to-School Celebration!
It’s time to get ‘Back-to-School and Back-to-Style-Ready’! Join Miami Kids Magazine and Shops at Merrick Park for a free, Back-to-School Celebration, welcoming back students for the 2021-2022 school year.
This year’s event will take place on Saturday, August 21st from 11:00am-2:00pm in the lower-level garden at Shops at Merrick Park located at 358 San Lorenzo Avenue Coral Gables.
In addition to live entertainment from Safari Sam, Gymbo the Clown and many other familiar friends, this year’s event will also feature giveaways and special incentives from Shops at Merrick Park retailers. Additionally, guests of honor at this year’s event include Coral Gables Mayor Vince Lago and School Board Member Dr. Larry Feldman.
This year’s event is sponsored by Florida Heiken Children’s Vision Program who will be providing complimentary vision testing by appointment only on August 28, 2021.
