Two Hot New Restaurants Coming To Coral Gables

Over the last few years, Wynwood has become a hot bed for new restaurants and incredible new cuisine, but Coral Gables continues to compete!

Three weeks ago, Gables Insider broke the news that Cheesecake Factory was coming to Coral Gables. Today, we can report that Coyo Taco and Urban Bricks Pizza will open locations in the Gables this summer!

Coyo Taco identifies itself as “Miami’s freshest Mexican street food experience.” Opening their original location in Wynwood, today they prepare to open their fourth location in the Gables. “At Coyo Taco, guacamole is smashed to order and tortillas are handcrafted on-site in an authentic Mexican tradition. Vegetables are farm fresh and locally sourced. meat and seafood are naturally raised and humanely treated. Aguas frescas and margaritas are made from scratch. staying true to our todo fresco, or ‘everything fresh’ philosophy, our ingredients are 100% natural.” – Coyo Taco.

Urban Bricks is a San Antonio, Texas based pizza franchise that “serves ‘brickin’ good’ authentic, customizable pizza, pasta, paninis and salad with an all-American attitude. With a culture that’s edgy, outgoing and progressive, Urban Bricks allows guests to build-your-own meal for one flat price, using freshly made dough and choosing from more than 30 ingredients that are prepared fresh each morning.” – Urban Bricks. Founded in 2015, they are projecting 50 locations by 2022.

Coyo Taco will be opening in August at 120 Giralda. Urban Bricks is expected to open in late summer at 130 Miracle Mile.

  1. The Problem with Coral Gables I feel is simple.. The property owners are hiking the rents and blowing restaurants out of the Gables.. Brick Top who had one of the most refreshing Happy Hour in Town Left.. It is a shame..!! Now we go to Palm Beach to enjoy a great Happy Hour..
