Coral Gables welcomed a new business last week, as a ribbon was cut to officially open Veranda Plants & Gifts.
On hand were Mayor Vince Lago and Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Mark Trowbridge who helped cut the ribbon.
“Veranda Plants & Gifts offers many different plants in all sizes, ceramic pots, baskets, terrariums, home accessories, all natural scented candles, gifts and seasonal items. We currently have a beautiful selection of handblown glass Christmas ornaments. We also offer plantscaping services for the home and office and anyone is welcome to visit the store if they just need some advice with regards to plant care,” said owner Erica des Roches.
“I opened Veranda Plants & Gifts in Coral Gables, because I saw there was a real need for a store where you can buy a beautiful plant, a gift or a small home accessory at an affordable price and am very excited to be a part of this wonderful community,” she added.
Veranda Plants & Gifts is located in the breezeway of 224 Miracle Mile. Their motto is “from 1 inch small to 8 feet tall! We have plants in all sizes! We deliver?”
Love this new little gem of a store. Beautiful plants at reasonable prices. It’s kind of hidden in the breezeway though. We couldn’t find it until we saw the sign on the sidewalk next to Calle23.
